EBRx Prior Authorization Call Center
As a healthcare provider, you can be confident that your choice on an EBRx Preferred Drug List (PDL) represent the most proven and cost effective options for your patients. All preferred drugs are covered automatically without a prior authorization (PA).
Because patients are unique, and the preferred drug may not always be appropriate, EBRx has streamlined the PA process for non-preferred drugs. Some PAs are processed electronically at the pharmacy by automatically reading a patients past prescription, diagnosis, and procedure history.
EBRx also maintains a PA Call Center that is staffed by experienced pharmacists who can assist with a PA request and process an approval or denial in typically under five minutes. The Call Center also has two physician medical directors who are available to assist prescribers who wish to further discuss a PA.
The Call Center is open Monday through Saturday to serve the prescribers requiring a PA.
